CPR / AED Courses

Canadian Red Cross First Aid & CPR training is basic knowledge delivered in easy-to-follow steps. Our courses teach simple routines that can apply to a variety of situations, from minor injuries to more severe injuries and conditions. This knowledge can turn your clients from a bystander into someone who has the knowledge and skills to help: someone who can save a life!

All courses include First Aid & CPR Guidelines 2005. Workplace programs meet both federal and provincial/territorial Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation.

hdgRecertification - CPR Health Care Provider

This is a recertification course designed for candidates that have a current CPR-Health Care Provider certification from a first aid training agency.

hdgHeart and Stroke Healthcare Provider (Level C) CPR

This Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider CPR (Level C) program is valid for one year from issue and contains all the skills required at the BLS level.

hdgHeart and Stroke Healthcare Provider (Level C) CPR Renewal

This Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider – C - Renewal will refresh your skills and review information form your previous Healthcare Provider program.

hdgCPR Level C with AED Certification

The course covers skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies for adults, children and babies as well another topics such as choking, airway and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission. An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification is included where legislation permits.

hdgHealth Care Provider CPR with AED

This Canadidan Red Cross course incorporates the new 2005 CPR guidelines and is targeted for Health Care Providers or candidates going into the following professions: Physician, nurses, EMR's, EMT's, Paramedics and Allied Health Care Providers - RT, OT's and PT's.
