The Canadian Red Cross has a modular approach for instructors to rectify. Every instructor is required to complete:
Step 1: Instructor Hub
Step 2: Complete a discipline specific spoke for each level of instructor status.
For example: If you a current Red Cross First Aid Instructor and a BLS Instructor. You will be required to complete three (3) courses.
1. Instructor Hub
2a. First Aid Discipline Specific Recert
2b. Professional Responder Discipline Specific (to decertify the BLS Instructor status).
For the example above - this instructor will only be required to complete the Instructor Hub once in this recertification cycle.
If you have any additional questions, please contact our Leadership Coordinator Melissa at Melissa@ahasti.ca
