EMS Courses
Emergency response personnel are the official unsung heroes of the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Industry. Our Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Emegency Medical Technician (EMT) programs provide students with all the knowledge and hands-on practical experience that will set them up for success in the field of Emergency Medical Services. We presently offer the highest number of in-class (with a real instructor) hours of all EMS programs in the province. Our EMR and EMT programs are approved by the Alberta College of Paramedics.

Instructor Courses
Thinking about becoming an instructor for First Aid or CPR? We offer the Canadian Red Cross instructor course and transfer course (if you are coming from St. John Ambulance or Heart and Stroke).
CPR Only Courses: no first aid
CPR training teaches you how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)on various age groups, and how to manage choking emergencies on conscious and unconscious individuals. The automatic external defibrillator component teaches candidates how to safely deliver a life-saving shock to an adult or children using an AED.
First Aid & CPR Courses
Learning First Aid & CPR is as essential as learning to walk or to read. First Aid & CPR skills are applicable in your daily life, both at home and at work, and prepare you to act on, respond to, and manage life's emergencies - before a professional responder arrives. The Red Cross First Aid & CPR course can teach you how to prevent injuries and deal with a variety of emergency situations, from small injuries and conditions to more severe injuries. You will also receive a useful take-home resource, the Red Cross First Aid & CPR Manual.
Wilderness Courses
Our wilderness courses focus on the practical application of first aid and emergency care principles. These courses range from basic to guiding and prehospital care levels. Are you prepared for the outdoors?
