CPR Level C with AED Certification

The course covers skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies for adults, children and babies as well another topics such as choking, airway and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission. An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification is included where legislation permits.

  • Adult/Child/Baby CPR - one rescuer
  • Adult/Child/Baby choking
  • Barrier device/pocket masks
  • Automated External Defibrillator
  • Adult/Child – 2 rescuers taking turns doing CPR (30:2 ratio only)

The following are the prerequisite that a student is required to have before being allowed into this course:

CPR Level C covers emergency responses to:

Cardiovascular emergencies and choking in adults, children and babies
Two people Adult/Child CPR

Targeted for families, parents, general public, professional rescuers, (i.e. Police, Firefighters, First Responders, Workplace First Aid Teams, and Lifeguards)

Completion Criteria:
• Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate the skills and pass a knowledge evaluation with a minimum mark of 75%
• Participants must attend and participate in 100% of the course

Upon successful completion of this program you will have earned the following tickets:

  • Certification Card
  • Certification valid for 3 years
