This Red Cross basic one-day (8 hours) is ideal for individuals looking for a basic first aid or to re-certify their Emergency First Adi certification course. The course offers an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Meets OHS regulations for Basic First Aid. Exceeds competitors standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and AED skills.

This course is taught 100% face-to-face in a classroom.
Our Instructors are front-line professionals who tailor teaching based on participants’ learning styles and training needs. Dynamic teaching techniques: skills demonstrations, practice sessions, scenarios based on real-life situations, discussions, and exercises. Hands-on training using real materials: mannequins for practising CPR, AED trainers, bandages and splinting materials, auto-injector trainers, inhalers, and additional aids.
AHASTI will require a unique email address upon registration or at the time of the course for each student in these programs to ensure that the certifications and course manuals are available and accessible to each student. Employers will not have access to these certifications. Employees will be required to forward a copy to employers upon request. As certifications will not be issued at the time of completion, AHASTI will strive to have all issued within 72 hrs of completion of the training. AHASTI will only be issuing temporary certifications to candidates that require a document within that time period.
Upon successful completion of this program you will have earned the following tickets:
100% attendance, skills demonstration, and 75% min. passing grade on written exam.
