EMR Refresher

A refresher course for those who have already successfully completed an ACP-approved EMR course. The student must be able to provide on the first day of the course a EMR Certification that does not exceed 3 years from its issuing date.

Duration

40 Hours

Prerequisites

The following are the prerequisite that a student is required to have before being allowed into this course:

Completed an ACP-approved EMR program and have a current CPR Level C certification.

Description

Student must complete their Alberta College of Paramedics provincial exam and become registered as an EMR within 1 year from the completion of their EMR course. If not, students will be asked by ACP to complete a refresher program.
