Prerequisites
The following are the prerequisite that a student is required to have before being allowed into this course:
- Current HSFC BLS for Health care Provider (C) within 12 months prior to the instructor course.
- Completion of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC) Core Instructor module (materials will be provided upon registration)
Description
The Basic Life Support Instructor course is the necessary requirement before an individual may commence teaching Basic Life Support courses for the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
Within six months of successful completion of this course and prior to receiving instructor status, instructor candidates must complete their monitoring of a full provider course monitored by an Instructor Trainer or Experienced
Instructor.
Certifications Earned
Upon successful completion of this program you will have earned the following tickets:
- Heart and Stroke BLS Instructor certification
