Blended CPR Level C/AED

Course is conducted 50% in-class and 50% with an instructor while maintaining all safety requirements and social distancing requirements. Date selected is for the in-class portion and completion of the online must presented to the instructor.

Online portal access will be sent via email during AHASTI business hours.

Courses on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies. All include training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Courses offer training suitable for workplace or general interest. Includes the latest CPR guidelines.

3 hrs online with 2.5 hrs in class

hdgPrerequisites

The following are the prerequisite that a student is required to have before being allowed into this course:

  • No prerequisites, however online portion must be completed prior to attending the 3 hours skill session.
  • Participant materials are in an e-book format along with the online component access information.
  • Participants must complete the classroom component within 90 days of completing the online component.
  • If a participant does not attend a classroom session within this timeframe, they are required to re-register for the full course fee and retake the online component before being admitted into the classroom.

This Red Cross course on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies. Courses meet legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards, and include the latest CPR guidelines and training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Blended CPR C means that 3 hours of online learning is required prior to the scheduled 3 hours in class time.

Upon successful completion of this program you will have earned the following tickets:

  • CPR Level C - Certification is valid for 3 years.
