This course covers all that is incorporated in the Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid course with the addition of CPR that is required for Health Care Providers.
Health Care Providers are: physicians, nurses, EMR, EMT, paramedics and Allied Healthcare Providers-RT, OT, PT.
This program meets all 2010 ILCOR CPR guidelines.

PrerequisitesThe following are the prerequisite that a student is required to have before being allowed into this course:
DescriptionParticipate in a fun, interactive learning environment
- Learn simple techniques for First Aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
- Learn safety and healthy lifestyle choices which are key to illness and injury prevention.
Red Cross Instructors individualize the training and provide continuous feedback which increases skill retention so that participants are more likely to feel prepared to apply skills in an emergency situation.
