Part Time First Aid Instructor - Red Deer/Calgary

Job Description: The Alberta Health and Safety Training Institute is looking to hire another dynamic member for our team! Reporting to the First Aid Program Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for delivering First Aid/CPR/AED training and recertification courses. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed is required, as well as the ability to work from varying locations within Red Deer and/or Calgary. Candidates must have a current Red Cross First Aid Instructor certificate, as well as excellent communication skills.

Job Pay: $18.00 / hour

Medical Standby Assistant

Job Description: AHASTI is looking to fill a Medical Standby Assistant position. Required: â?¢ Minimum registered EMR in good standing with ACP â?¢ Field experience in Standby or on Ambulance â?¢ Experience in event planning â?¢ Marketing experience â?¢ Strong communication skills Asset: â?¢ Instructor certifications (ie. BLS instructor, First Aid Instructor, ITLS Instructor etc) â?¢ Knowledge of OHS guidelines This position is a guaranteed minimum 20 hour a week position consisting of 10 hours medical standby and 10 hours administration, with the possibility of increase of works hours as schedule permits. The successful candidate must have a flexible availability for a flexible work schedule, including many evenings and weekends. This candidate will be on-call during events, and will require a cell phone (reimbursement will be arranged). To apply, send a cover letter and resume to Charna@safetyed.ca.
