Alberta Health & Safety Training InstituteJob Description: Alberta Health and Safety Training Institute is looking for strong candidates to join our Instructional Team as EMR Instructors in Calgary and/or Red Deer. Hours range from 8 to 40 hours per week. Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with our EMS team. Minimum Qualifications: 1. ACP registered EMT or higher with a minimum of one year field experience 2. Red Cross First Aid Instructor 3. Proven experience in customer relations and customer service 4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships 5. Ability to work independently and under direct supervision 6. Alberta Health & Safety Training InstituteJob Description: The Alberta Health & Safety Training Institute is seeking qualified EMR’s and EMT’s for casual employment in the position of Medical Standby. Staff will be required to work evenings and weekends at many different events and locations throughout the Calgary area. Events include, but are not limited to, corporate parties, concerts, sporting events, rodeos, movie sets, and job sites. Successful candidates will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Wages: EMR: $20.00/hr EMT: $25.00/hr Qualifications: • Current registration with ACP, as well as current CPR - C • EXCELLENT Communication skills as well as applicable technical skills. • 2 Work related references. • Class 5 Driver’s license or higher • Must be mature and reliable. • EMS experience and schedule flexibility a definite asset Application Process: Interested applicants may fax or email their resume with cover letter, or drop it off in person at our Calgary Location.
